ELLSWORTH — Vance Gray Wealth Management, a Maine-based firm specializing in financial advising, wealth management and retirement planning, has announced that it is adding a tax strategy and planning division to its list of services.
Andrew Laslie, CPA, will head up the division and bring more than a decade of tax strategy experience to the Vance Gray team.
Laslie comes to Vance Gray Wealth Management as the chief tax strategist after spending more than a decade at BHA in Ellsworth (formerly Blue Hill Accounting), where he was a partner.
“I have a long and trusted history with Andy,” said Vance Gray, founder and senior financial advisor at Vance Gray Wealth Management. “We’ve been referring clients in need of tax planning services with confidence for some time now.
“When it came time for us to expand and add this division to our business, Andy was the natural choice for me to head it up.”
“Working with Vance over the years opened my eyes to the fact that we share many of the same philosophies with our customers — making sure that everything we do is in their best interest,” Laslie said.
Laslie graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2001 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Vance Gray Wealth Management opened in Bangor in 1991 and added an Ellsworth office in 1995. Including the founder, Vance Gray Wealth Management now has six employees, with its main office on Broadway in Bangor, and a new Ellsworth office at 130 Oak St.
